| 内容記述 | This paper demonstrates that out-of-class English learning is one of the effective pedagogies for developing autonomous learners. The out-of-class English learning is designed for all the students who enroll in English A and English B in 2021 academic year to acquire English reading skills through the CEFR-J based textbook, and it also employs planned scaffolding for learners to foster the degree of understanding and acquisition of grammatical, syntactic, and lexical knowledge, so that they can be autonomous English learners. The quantitative survey reveals that the out-of-class English learning shows statistically significant difference in learners’ attitude and motivation. |
