| 内容記述 | Recently, the number of students who read the newspaper has been decreasing even though an increasing number of students access online news obtained through major research engines. With reference to newspapers in education, research on the use of electronic newspapers in order to adapt to the present situation is necessary. In the present paper, users’ perception and evaluation of articles in community-based electronic newspapers is examined. An online questionnaire survey was conducted for the users of KAHOKU Shimpo, which has a regional community in the area of Tohoku in Japan. Results showed that there are common criteria for users to evaluate articles of both online and paper. The result of users’ evaluation of top-shared articles indicated that users’ evaluations are not necessarily correspond to the general result of “share” by means of online communication. | |||||
