The features of these GUI programs are that a look of the GUI, input to FORTRAN program, and a display of output from FORTRAN program are provided by Tcl/Tk, and that the executive routines are provided by FORTRAN. \nIn graphics, it is shown that for the drawing on the canvas widget in Tcl/Tk, there are two methods; one is the method of using the Xlib in X Window system, the other is that of using the transfer of the x- and y-coordinates of the drawing points; and the plots by the former can be made rapid implementation more than 130 times as compared with that by the latter.
