These are very nice to defend the earth from environmental pollution. During 46 months generation of electricity with 4 kW photovoltaic power generation system of the author was measured and confirmed the practicality. The system was helped by the national monitoring project in 1997. And the report about the PY-system was scribed in this paper. 15,346 [kWh] of electric energy were supplied from solar energy from January 1997 to Oc­tober 2000. The electric energy was self-supported from the PY-system. The value of PY-power / global solar radiation of the system was about 0.86 [kWh / MJm·2]. That is the calculated average value of several years. But when the value was necessary to estimate the PY-system by the data in a short period, the value can be approximately express by the data in late March or in late September.
