Same color but different luminance lights are easily discriminated. However, for dif­fient colors the lights are difficult to discriminate. For this settlement of difficulty, the flicker method has been used. A special shutter is used in previous flicker method. On a half side of the shutter (which is a circular disc), a mirror is set, and a half of the disc is made as transparent. However, this special shutter is difficult to obtain. \nTherefore, this investigation developed newly flicker method using a general shutter like as a fan. Further, for this observation, monocular and binocular are used.
