| 内容記述 | The teachers as the public servants are always called for the vocation as the educator. But what is the vocation as the educator? How is it cultivated? These are not demonstrated. Then this paper considered the nature of the vocation as the educator and the way to cultivate it, based on the thoughts of the ancestor, that is, "Genshishiroku" （言志四録） by SATO Issai （佐藤一斎）， who was the scholar of the Confucianism in the Edo era. I poninted out the importance of the discovery of the true mind of the teacher's oneself, and the holding of the strong desire of meeting public needs (Koyoku 公欲）， those are educational needs of the pupils and studens. |
