As a result, the streets with small-sized restaurants and traditional brick housings have disappeared. In the investigation in March 2003, 80.5% of 200 small—sized restaurants were in business for less than 3 years. Then, when the investigation was made again in August 2004, 110 out of 200 restaurants had disappeared. In the circumference of an university, road maintenance is proceeding, and many restaurants are going out of business. There are some parts where all restaurants on a street have went out of business. However, Rokudouguti is an unique case that the buildings remaind but the names of the restaurants changed. It is assumed that this is related to the shortness of time they have been in business as we learn in the last investigation. In the tourist resorts, a high percentage of the restaurants are still in business because the city maintenance has been proceeding for some time. There is no sign that a replacement land will be prepared for the restaurants who had to close their because of the city maintenance. This must be making the lives difficult for the restaurant owners and their families. It is necessary to pay attention to the city maintenance in future.}, pages = {207--212}, title = {北京市中心市内の小規模飲食店の動向}, volume = {37}, year = {2005} }
