Mucus component of Mackerel might include active ingredient to be able to improve rough skin or atopic dermatitis. If effective active ingredients are found, the novel substance might be applicable as a cosmetic or pharmaceutical ingredient. In this study, amino acids component of Mackerel’s mucus was analyzed by Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography and was evaluated the antioxidant activity in vitro. The sample was prepared farmed and natural Mackerels in each analysis.
