| 内容記述 | This study investigates financial network formation under asymmetric information, focusing on delegated networking as an alternative to traditional regulatory mechanisms. We compare two frameworks: a centralized mechanism in which financial institutions report private information to a regulator who prescribes optimal network configurations, and a delegated networking approach, where institutions endogenously form connections from a set of predefined catalogs recommended by the regulator. Under well-defined regulatory conditions, we demonstrate the theoretical and empirical equivalence of these two approaches in achieving incentive compatibility and systemic stability. The findings highlight the promise of delegated networking as a flexible and effective regulatory tool for maintaining financial system resilience. | |||||||||
