This study explored the feasible pathways by introducing sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and controlling flight distance for achieving carbon-neutral in Australia. The results showed that CO2 emissions exceeded the target in 2035 and that emissions would need to be reduced by 309 Mt-CO2 by 2050 to meet the target.
