<dc:description>Front configuration of shielding current regions in a superconducting plate under a magnetic field He perpendicular to the plate surface, is discussed by fitting to some parabola-like curves with the n-th power (n=2,3,4). Adopted shielding conditions are that the magnetic field vanishes completely at the center of the plate, and that the magnetic field distribution on the x axes, parallel direction to the plate surface, has a zero second derivative coefficient near the center. Three sets of curves having different n values are compared and estimated for getting the best shielding case. For a medium strength of H,, the curve of n=3 is considered to be the most favorable one, compared with others (n=2,4), because it gives the smallest mean value of field distribution on x axes in the shielded region.</dc:description>
